About Sabine Krier
I’m Sabine Krier, and I’m running to represent the more than 50,000 residents of District 2 in the Idaho State House of Representatives.
District 2 includes the counties of Benewah, Clearwater, and Shoshone, as well as parts of Bonner and Kootenai counties, encompassing the towns of Orofino, Saint Maries, Kellogg, Pinehurst, Osburn, and surrounding areas.
My Background
Idaho has been my home for more than forty years. My husband and I raised our four children in Saint Maries, where I spent years as a homemaker, school volunteer, and EMT. I later continued my education at North Idaho College and the University of Idaho. Today I work as a Fire and Fuels GIS Specialist and serve on an Incident Management Team during wildfire season. I’m independent-minded, shaped by strong moral values, and committed to the people and places that have given my family so much.
What Motivates Me to Serve
I care deeply about people, and I believe that in reality, we all want the same things: a healthy, safe, and affordable community, opportunities to learn and build a good life, community support for our children to thrive, and the confidence that our future holds promise. I’m running because I’m proud to be an Idahoan, and I can help ensure that pride is something every family can share.
